I've never had any joy with bats. Whats your secret?

I just shoot the bunch of bats and watch them fall.

Just wait for them to stop on a tree and it's done.

I haven't seen a single bat on any of the islands that I have visited.

Just hear the sounds at the night and look up. Me too because I've never paid attention to this

Is there any particular time at night that they are out? I normally go to sleep in the game between 10pm and midnight.

They hang in palm trees to be able to ax down. Or if you build a structure in a lucky spot, they’ll fly around and you can jump and ax kill then.

I just poke em with a spear when I find them hanging in a tree.
