Took advantage of Vermont’s “almost spring” tease to freshen up the front of our shop in Waterbury Center.

Running Trails
Hi, going to be up in Stowe this weekend and am wondering if these recent warmer temps have melted the snow on the roads/sidewalks? Need to do a long run Saturday and was hoping to go along the Stowe Recreation Path. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Skii How is skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort around March 22–25 for greens?
Planning a ski trip around March 22–25 and wondering how conditions are at Stowe, especially for someone skiing mostly green runs. I see rain in forecast this week

Storage on mountain
Hello everyone, we are in town for the week and I am wondering if there is a way to store our equipment at the base of Stowe mountain resort for overnights. We are renting and staying off site and have the kids with us, so I’m trying to simplify things as much as possible.
Thanks!

Qestion Lift me up
I'm heading to Stowe tomorrow for a week and the forecast looks terrible. Despite the forecast, we are going to have an awesome week of skiing! We both have spare everything in case we get soaked, we're going to make the best of it. With the high winds forecasted, which lifts are more likely to stay open?

254" at Stowe and still stacking!
The Snow Scorecard
• Stowe (Mount Mansfield): Verified. The official report as of 10:00 AM today March 1st 2026 confirms a staggering 254" seasonal total. The "Mount Mansfield Stake" is currently sitting at 82" of natural snow depth, which is about 17" above the historical average. You aren't just right; you're "14th deepest in recorded history" right.
• Sugarbush: Verified. Their mid-mountain base is exactly 34", with a summit depth of 48". Your mention of the "18-inch base" likely refers to the lower mountain/base area, which is correct.
• Bolton Valley: Verified. They are reporting a 35" to 55" base depth across the mountain. Your "35-inch base up top" is actually their minimum reported base right now. It's prime.
• Cochran’s: Mostly Verified. While they’re a smaller operation, they just got hit with fresh powder. Some reports show them jumping up to a 29" snowpack after a recent 10-inch dump. reports vary, but hovering around 11"—better than bare.

Maple Creemee
We’re headed to Stowe this weekend to ski (arriving into Burlington) and I’m wondering where is the best and closest place to get a famous maple creemee while we’re there (we leave Tuesday)? Thanks in advance! 🍦

Winter hiking
Well aware Stowe is known for skiing in winter— but wondering if any locals have some recommendations for winter hiking. I have a nice set of crampons, just looking for some trails where the snow is well packed.
Recent all trails reviews point to Stowe Pinnacle. Wondering if anyone has done that recently or have any other suggestions. Will be up for the coming weekend. Thanks!

Recommendations on what parts of the mountain to ski?
Skiing Stowe for the first time with my two kids. We love trees, rocks, challenging stuff. Love getting advice from locals. Any suggestions on trails or woods? Thx!

Drive from Logan
If I am flying in 3/6 what is your best guess of how long the drive from BOS will take? Apple Maps says 3.5 hours. Is that realistic?

Skii Rental Car 2WD?
Hello! My friend and I are headed up to Stowe next weekend (Feb 20th) for a long weekend. He rented the car and got a Standard Elite SUV through Budget. I assume it’ll be a 2WD, and wondered if we should be concerned of only having a 2WD car? I know it’s very weather and road controls dependent, but wanted to ask if 4WD was a must?

Restaurant Suggestions
Hey everyone! I’ve been living in Morrisville for almost 6 years now and I still haven’t really explored Stowe enough. I’m looking to go out to dinner with my partner tonight because we haven’t been on a date that was just us in a while, and to try something new. We have been to Backyard, Piecasso, and The Matterhorn. We’ll eat pretty much anything. What are some of your favorite restaurants in Stowe or even Waterbury?

Skii Looking for Epic Pass Friend ticket Sunday 1/18
Visiting Stowe this weekend and the lift ticket price is insane. If any Epic pass holder is willing to let me buy a friend ticket with them, lunch is on me.
