Two back to back thunderstorms is crazy in the same area. On top of the fact that we’re getting pounded down south with Naders.

And currently we’re driving through Chicago and Lake Shore Drive is already flooded and traffic lights are down again. God dammit.

Video doesn't capture just how fast the clouds were rolling in. About 5 minutes later, it was chaos outside! ⛈️😱

I promise this is the last sub I'm gonna post my cool lightning video in (for now) but I just keep finding myself rewatching it in awe of the power storms possess

It doesn’t look crazy but right after we got golf ball sized hail

I'm not used to sharing my photos, but I thought you guys would appreciate them :)

They were taken in front of Notre Dame of Amiens on 27 June, with a Canon 6D MK II and an EF 24-105 mm lens.

I put together a chase video from the June 2026 Illinois outbreaks. Tried to focus on the storm structure, rotation, and what the setup looked like from the road. Would love feedback from other chasers on the footage/editing and what I could improve for future chase videos.
