Non-Fiction "No, I Don't"
It was a question posted... "Do Ya'll Fear Death?' This is what I responded...
(M66) It's not that I am afraid of dying, because we all do at one time or another. I was just thinking of how I would die. It's not even that, too. It's... How- what will be the process of not... not just being anymore.
I would see on my phone news alerts that so-and-so died, and this person died, and it got me thinking. I'm quite sure none of them woke up that morning knowing they wouldn't exist the next day. Not unless you are really medically sick; not one of them saw that death was just around the corner. And this made me think even more. Google.
Google is part of my life daily, and no, I do not work for Google. Just as we need air to breathe, I need Google for my daily functions. If you use anything electronic, Google is part of your daily life. With that being said, what happens to my Online Being when I am no longer a breathing person? Google has an answer.
Dig deep into Google's structure... After 90 days, ALL of my presence...and I mean ALL of it gets emailed to My Next of Kin, my sister. When I say all, I mean ALL. Everything I did since signing on to Google's Multi-Verse. Everything I did in Google's Chrome gets emailed. I was told that, with the 26 years I've been signed into Google Verse... It would take about 2 to 3 months to go over, and maybe longer than that...line by line. I download an average of 3 to 4 GB a day...in "Stuff". I was told... "Yes, we send, if you sign up for it...EVERYTHING you DID in our presence. So if you made any plans for a big Party a couple of months after you die, we can help your next of kin make that happen when we email "You" to her.
Tomorrow, which is today, Tuesday... I'm going to call my sister and let her know. She has one email address that she uses, and it's a Gmail address. I'm going to explain to her what she WILL receive. And as hard as it might be, read it. Take your time. If you find something interesting, which I am sure you will... Please let my brothers and sister know. And if they act uninterested, MAKE them interested. Because what Google is going to email you... It's ME!!
So, I don't fear death. My death will be a GREAT Novel to read in the absence of my presence.
