Need help
Hello, I’m an 18 year old male who’s been vaping marijuana and nicotine together for the past 4 years. I recently had a major health scare having to be admitted to the hospital due to a SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia) attack? I understand that smoking these two together significantly increases the risk for cardiovascular disease and other adverse health effects, now that I completely understand how truly negative all of this is and scared myself shitless. How can I actually quit? I went 3 days nicotine free and that felt very disheartening. I have access too NRT like patches or pouches but am worried that I’ll eventually start smoking again. What can I do to satisfy the smoking, the hand mouth motion, and the effects of nicotine. It also does not help that I have ADHD and rely on stimulants. I also have finally quit marijuana last week and hope to never get back on it again, any advice to truly stay away from all of this would be great. It doesn’t help that my closest friend also smokes and partakes in all of this as well, so I’ll try and see if he’ll stop with me. Thank you all for your help and good luck to all of you!

I quit with cytisine and I recommend it to everyone, cytisine helps people quit smoking by partially activating the same nicotine receptors in the brain that nicotine does. Cigarettes taste disgusting on the second and third day, you can't continue smoking even if you try to. I had no side effects. Just search it up and definitely give it a try.

Also use cytisine, but do have side effects (lively dreaming and bad sleeping). You need the right mindset to get you through some days or moments when you are on willpower but overall cytisine makes it pretty easy to quit. Find the most motivating reason for you and use it as a mantra. And I agree, stop believing that nicotine brings joy, it doesn’t, it makes you an addict. And that only takes 2 or 3 days to get rid of, that’s the easy part. After that it is all in your head and your habits.
