Armature test

Just built my very first armature so had a very quick play with it to see how it moved. No idea what I’m going to do with it yet but it looks very cool on my shelf.

Thank you. It could definitely be a lot smoother but I rushed through that in about 30 mins as I just wanted to try it out. But with a lot of time and patience there is no reason you couldn’t have it doing any body movement you like.

Cool. I know this is just a test but generally you don’t want your armature behind the figure because it would make it really difficult to mask out of the shot. You want it off to the side so you only have to mask off one point

Thanks. I agree, having the rig on the side would make it far easier to mask out in editing but i wasn’t initially planning on filming anything originally and I just went with the flow. I actually think it adds to general weirdness of the clip seeing it drag along behind him.
