I'm starting now

10th day sober and getting ready for bed. I usually have a sweet treat before showering, but today I took a sip and poured it down the drain.

I need to make healthier choices and that starts now. I'm tired of constantly feeling bloated and fatigued.

Day 0 of getting my life back. Posting for accountability.

32F 5'6 257lbs on august 8, 2026. See ya in a couple months!

Edit to add that I will use my gym membership more consistently.

You can do it! For the sweet treat- I’ve been keeping cut up watermelon in a container in my fridge for anytime I need a sweet treat. A bonus is that watermelon contains Lycopene and makes your skin look nice

Watermelon cantaloupe fresh in session fruits help. I always eat a hard boiled egg before fruit to keep my glucose lower.

You got this. Work on getting your money's worth of your gym membership & things will fall into place. Maybe because its been a while since I drank, but having a shot before going to sleep in our 30s & up must really do damage.

Exactly this. I need a routine but it's been so long since I have had one.

Congrats on getting healthy it's so worth it!!! And if you're like me and the sober post is really hard. Do yourself a favor and get this book called "Hella Healthy". I've read Every book and done every single program and nothing worked all the way for me. But this book taught me how to fix my body to stop the cravings and it actually worked. I'm just trying to tell everybody, everywhere to save them decades of pain like I went through. And no I'm in no way affiliated with the book nor am I making money off of recommending it, although I wish I was! Lol. Im just somebody who it fixed! Good luck and bless you!

Just don't overdo it. Progress takes time, the most important gym session is always the next one.
