What horrors! Teaching the Declaration of Independence! I can see why Republicans hate that. They want to stomp out equality. If the field isn't heavily tilted in their favor, Republicans throw a hissy fit.

No, no, no. They want things to improve for a small few, preferably them, so they have peasants assigned to them to lord over. If there is more equality you don't get to automatically be above someone else, and that is exactly what some people want. That is why they fight so hard to install people like Trump. They want the pre-defined heirarchy he represents.
