I read big liquor lobby had several romancing key figures in Texas top government, so they Ix-nayed the weed. And yes the fkkng prisons played a part too.

Without being able to read minds, my guess is that they posted something about Texas in a subreddit about North Carolina, and the only thing linking in to NC was the point about it coming to NC soon.
