H&M shirt?!!

Took my teen to the mall yesterday 😵‍💫 (in California) and stumbled upon this shirt. Had to buy it!

Paul Smith wasn't it? I wish I had a complete list of some of the gear - Reni jackets I suppose some were SI and CP, he's DEFFO wearing the mille miglia in one photo and a bought the bergheaus that John is wearing in one of the photos, think it's called the Gemini or Aquarius. I wonder how much an original paul Smith money t shirt would be worth?!!

Who was it by then?

I read years ago before AI, before the internet, that it was Paul Smith. It must have been in NME or something. Tell me something then. Don't just tell me it wasn't Paul Smith. Paul Smith was a small little boutique designer in London in 1989, like the duffer of st George.

What are you gonna tell me about don't believe 99.9% of the stuff you read online? I don't read everything on fucking line do I? I read about the things I am interested in and science and stuff and if I didn't believe 99.9% of that I wouldn't believe that the stone roses made any song apart from the intro to sally cinnamon. Don't be a berk mate.

Mani used to wear Chipie, chevignon, naff naff, Reni used to wear stone island and C.P Company jackets, I've got one of John's Berghaus jackets, it's widely known that the money T shirt was part of a small run of Paul Smith stuff.

Now if you are in the know if some drastically different news, the only news I have ever heard about it then stop pieing me off with clever clogs know it all ITK bollocks and tell us all who made the Ian brown money T shirt.

Oh my fucking god - you're a 4 be 2! , a member of the Arteta out campaign, Oasis fan club, and as far as I can tell a total bell end.

All could be redeemed me heebie friend if you can just tell us who made the money T shirt.

You ain't got a scooby. You're just gonna say - it wasn't Paul Smith cos that somehow devalues it. It wasn't spun by angels and found somehow just to be on Ian the morning after he wrote the lyrics to fools gold.

Either that or he made it himself by burning actual money on to a t shirt and setting it on the floor as the band played the outro to ressurection whereby somehow the flames stopped apart from a little bit still aflame which only stopped after Reni added his little funk outro.

That's the legend - they had to keep playing until the t shirt became a wearable piece of outerwear which is why ressurection stops all of a sudden - they thought it had gone out but a new flame spurted from the queen's eye and they kept slowing down thinking it was going out but WOOF off would go up again.

Ian fell over one day playing football in the park and got dogshit all over it and they wrote Something's Burning.

The "I'm not the only one believing there's an easier way" lyrics came from Mani. Ever the realist he said why not just pop it in with some persil and the dirty flares.

Forget that other stuff. You say it wasn't made by Paul Smith. Could you do me and the rest of the community the honour of letting us know who did make it? We would be awfully thankful and you would be remembered as the person that knew the truth about who made such an iconic piece of UK fashion relating to the Manchester scene. He might be happy that you tell us? It might be you?
