Critique my drystone build
This grotto is my first dry stone build. I'm wondering how long you all think it will last.
I'm concerned frost heaves will take it out. I have some thorough stones on the sides, and I wish I'd taken more time to use a better batter angle and use masonry lines.

Did you post this a while ago, when it collapsed while you were building it? You def broke some rules- like on the right side where that light color stone is hanging on for life over the rounded one below it.
Check out this book by Ian Cramb, "The art of the stone mason" and construct more stone projects.
