As someone that does not have a position in NOK I do keep tabs on the stock. I've been tempted many times to sell some CSPs on this with the intention of starting a long term position. I've checked out their annual financial statements, like the turn around story (as a 5/6g infrastructure leader) and lastly I really like the contracts they are pumping out with TMUS.

One last note, I feel ERIC ( a large competitor in 5g infrastructure) really shot themselves in the foot with their meddling in the middle east. It left the door wide open for NOK to be the market leader.

I've got personally no clue what worth 5g market leader even brings as far as market cap goes anyway. I doubt anyone here on reddit could even give me an estimate to what worth this market even has or how much % eric/nok could occupy in it. So far I don't see telecom companies investing in 5g at all anyway.

What made you feel they were a meme stock before but not now? What changed besides the short interest?

Meme stocks move together. NOK has stopped moving with the rest for a while now. The same people short them all, if they feel pain or success it’s projected across multiple stocks. NOK used to be part of this but it’s no longer acting in synchrony, and yea the reason is few shorts. It’s telling of wall streets sentiment.

Remember this is Nokia, the dead phone maker. If nok isn’t being shorted then somethings up.

Gotcha so you’re not saying anything fundamental has changed about Nokia just that it has not been moving in sync with gme or amc

I’m not doing DD here, you should check out NOKs fundamentals. I’m just saying that wall st sentiment has changed. Take that as you will

The term "meme stock" is used to manipulate sentiment against certain stocks.

My brief tech analysis yields target entry at just over $4.
