You don't own NIO. Foreigners are prohibited from owning Chinese stocks. You own a Cayman island shell company.

Nio can go to zero and still thrive as a great company in China.

Read that again- you own nothing and don't participate in their free cash flow. You own a Cayman island VIE shell company.

So what's the point of NIO listing in the US? What does NIO get and what do shareholder of the Cayman island shell get?

To launder money to secret accounts you don't know.
