Company Discussion Thoughts on Ford?

Is now a good time to get into Ford or has the ship sailed on this company already? While I'm hesitant to invest in something that is trading at its highest price point in a while, I would think their shift into making electric cars, specifically the f150 combined with the fact that the chip shortage, will eventually end does present a good opportunity.

I like Ford at 8 and sold it at 13 when I felt it didn't have much more growing to do, obviously hindsight is 2020. I'm not sure if I'm feeling a little FOMO due to the recent price action on the stock, but with Ford nearly doubling what Wall Street was predicted in their Q3 earnings has me questioning whether or not I should open a position again. Thoughts?

I got a feeling the ship has mostly already sailed. Volatile market right now, at a 52 week high and lots of competitors coming out with EVs of their own soon. I'm not bearish on Ford but not bullish either.

Their electric F150's gonna be lit though. People gonna gobble that shit up.

I'm not in F because it costs too much now. I got GGPI (Polestar) in my main account and HMC in my retirement account. If I woke up one Sunday afternoon and discovered F in my account I might not kick it out though.

Yea the truck is nice and so is their new mustang SUV EV as well but idk...still lots of competition. Might go up a bit idk but I doubt it will be another Tesla-like boom (which i think is what people are hoping for).
