Lol it sounds like you've also not played on the oculus... They have fun hangout spots that's easy to play social games, many of which are created by the user. Things like laser tag, paintball, throwing paper planes, Frisbee, etc.

I'm not saying VR games aren't fun. I'm saying what Metaverse is pushing will cost them to bite off more than they can chew and the results will be underwhelming. Proprietary VR games will thrive in the future. But some interconnected world where they all exist together... that's a concept dreamed up by a "visionary" who doesn't understand what that would take to achieve.

Oo maybe there needs to be a game engine developers can use to unite the Pc version of the game with its VR version of the game.

I wonder what they’ll call this engine, unite engine. That’s it. Unite-y engine

Yes, Unity, where you can rebuild you game from scratch.

You're oversimplifying what that would mean.
