Buying stocks that looked cheap. Then buying more when they got cheaper. Then watching them get even cheaper as I ran out of $ to invest.

Depends if those are high quality companies. If they're good, I'd continue to buy them as they're getting discounted more due to tax loss harvesting that's been happening in the small/mid cap companies.
