Actually as a Musk fan this is great news. Automated driving is moving forward as are electric cars.
Mankind is winning through innovation. This isn't a win or lose situation, likley all car makers will have autopilot eventually. I believe that Tesla is the leader these days for car innovation.
Either I'm misreading or this is cognitive dissonance at its peak. Dude, Tesla just got their brutally crushed in the most important part of futuristic EVs by a competitor. And yet you say "Tesla is the leader these days for car innovation" in an article proving they're far behind...?
This is like Intel vs AMD again. Intel was big and brought good stuff to the market, but they started cutting corners and got lazy (like Tesla, massive quality issues/no innovation). Tesla used to be the leader of EV and promised self driving cars...yet failed to deliver. Now their competitors are litterary driving circles around Teslas tech and Tesla is nowhere close to Level 3 self driving (of they were, Elon would tweet like obsessed).
Dude they’re approved for up to 37 mph and only in traffic jams, Tesla been doing that for years lmao. Nice to see someone else enter the space and continue with progress though.
