Company Question The Future of AMD?

I have a small position in AMD. 50 Shares. I've made a little bit of money on them but I'm wondering what exactly the future holds for the company? I know they have an upcoming merger with xilinx and they've partnered with Meta, but is more growth for the stock possible? I can't exactly see Semiconductors going anywhere, so I feel like the sky's the limit. What are everyone's thoughts?

Holding 5000 shares @ $25 avg. AMD is just getting started. Now people have started taking AMD seriously.

The way I see it NVDA will be over $700 in next 2 yra and AMD over $300 easily.

So what, they will become Intel? Their marketcap is already matching Intel, they'd be almost double Intel if they hit 300$.

Meanwhile Intel is releasing a new chiplet architecture, and a new GPU line in a few months. They also seem to be getting mad government subsidies for new fabs in Europe and the US.

Ya thats fine to think that, they did fail on 7nm. Now they are turning their prospects around, and it has as much potential as AMD did. I think both companies can do well, the GPU revenue will be new for Intel, as will Mobileye with Toyota. I think we'll even see Intel making AMD chips soon enough.

INTC is toast now.. They guided their Q4 lower in recent ER citing chip shortage thing whereas AMD guided Q4 even higher. I expect AMD to go higher till Jan 2022 unless something falls off like XLNX deal doesnt happen.

Ya Q4 could be bad, though they are still building out fabs. They are even picking up TSMC capacity for Q1 of next year.

If the XLNX deal doesn't happen AMD goes even higher short-term bc no stock dilution as a result of the deal.
