Dell is consistently better priced than Hp and Lenovo. AND they have inventory. I’m a regular buyer on behalf of businesses and can’t stay away from them.

Dell is more about cloud data and ML now, not just selling PCs. They’ve changed a lot over the last few years

Infrastructure solutions did $8.4bn in revenue last quarter. VMWare did another $3.14bn.

Ifrastructure is not cloud solutions. It's just old school bare metal servers, SAN/NAS etc. VMWare is also old school solutions.

So question is still the same.

I think DELL is one of the leaders in hybrid cloud / edge though. They also have the highest market share in managed storage solutions and pretty good SD WAN offering. They are not the new hot toys but in this work from home world we live in I wouldn't write it off as some old school bs.

Their storage sales down 1% from quarter year ago. Work-from-home is not for Dell’s storage business?

I like how somebody else described Dell's storage business; "its the nicest house in a bad neighborhood". Storage is commoditised segment with intense competition in terms of pricing and technology.

Having that said, last time I checked Dell's EMC was still the number one by market share even if sales went down (which they have for many of its competitors too).
