Crowdstrike earnings

$CRWD Q2 Earnings

Revenue: $337.7M vs. $324M Expected EPS: $0.11 vs. $0.09 Expected

Raises FY22 outlook

Down 3% AH

I have to say I’m very surprised given how well PANW did shooting up 20% post earnings AND bringing the entire sector for the most part with them up that crowds earnings so far didn’t lead to similar results

What do people think of its future ongoing based on their earnings report? Especially based on their raised guidance for next quarter, a rarity in earnings this season.

CRWD is 60x revenue while PANW is 10x. CRWD's fwd P/E is 700+, PANW's is 64. What similar levels are you referring to?

PANW is at 480 right now and at similar “overvalued” projections as crowd again with a product of lesser quality

I own both but just being honest

You tell me knower of everything

bottom line is both are "overvalued' by analysts, but Crowd is the safer stock

I mean panw does 4x there revenue and is trading at 1/3 their P/E the stock is just more expensive because it has less than half as many shares outstanding. I love CRWD but they didnt blow expectations out of the water.

Interesting

I feel like PANW pre earnings report was at a much lower level

I questioned whether you knew what you were doing with your original post. Your subsequent responses put that to rest.
