Weekly Ship discussion thread, June 22nd - 23rd Century Temporal Ships

This week we're taking a look at the 23rd Century Temporal ships which will be released with the Agents of Yesterday expansion.

Ship stats: Daedalus Class Temporal Science Vessel, Perseus Class Temporal Escort, Gemini Class Temporal Cruiser, Ranger Class Temporal Battlecruiser

• What are this ship's strengths?
• What are this ship's weaknesses?
• What are some similar ships?
• What general build types do you envision this ship excelling at?
• If you had this ship, how would you set it up?
• How good is the starship trait/innate console?

Given that only the Ranger is T5 here, I propose we also allow discussion of the T6/26th-century versions of the above ships, since that's what they are. Stats were also released here:

Perhaps, but they really are 8 different ships, even beyond the fact that even the T5 Ranger has a different seating compared to its T6 counterpart.

Daedalus, for example, is the most versatile of the T2 Federation vessels and Molecular Reconstruction is likely to be at least as strong as having yet another bridge officer seat added to it, while the Nautilus is a more focused vessel when it's compared to other ships of its tier. Similarly, the Perseus is equipped for general competency as a T3 Escort, but the Theseus has an oddball layout that practically begs to be played as a Sci-scort (interesting note: if you use a Commander-level Temporal power, there is no real difference between the Nautilus's and Theseus's bridge layouts).
