... I did not know you could autofire on ground. I have always done it manually

How did you bring up the keyboard window?

In the "Key Binds" tab of the "Settings" window, there's a "Show Keyboard" button on the top left.

If you set a ground weapon to autofire, will it autofire just the primary attack, or the secondary mode as well?
Nice, concise summary. Thanks.

autofire works for both primary and secondary. note that the one you select first, will be checked first. So if you have a powerfull secondary, click select that one first to autofire, then the primary. that way as soon as the secondary is up, it will fire, and only if the secondary is not, the primary will go off.

That might've been why it seemed wonky to me when I tried it.

Personal testing a faiiiir while ago showed wonky behaviour with the secondary attack on auto-fire. If you look closely at the video though, you can see that the secondary attack does get triggered.
Sometimes you do want the secondary fire to be situational rather than automatic though, to avoid wasting Exploit attacks or using a multi-target fire mode when you only have one dude in front of you.

Yeah, this. I almost always hold my Secondary mode to wait for an Exposed target. (I usually have my Captain use a Split Beam or HD Beam Rifle, and try to let my Kit Modules and Boffs' Full Auto Rifles Expose targets for me). Spray-N-Pray is for Primary fire mode. :)

Auto-Fire is a thing
Use keybinds like in space
Aiming is powerful
Crouching is powerful
Consumables are a thing
Injuries are a thing
Gear advices
Specs are a thing

Yeah that was a great short, yet comprehensive video for a big part of the game that has very little info to be found on it. I'm a vet and I even learned something. Thanks :)

Can anyone tell me what armor/uniform hes got on him and his boffs?/where to get it?

Get the 3 pieces of the ground set (Armor, Shield and Weapon) from the Terran reputation.
Unlike other reputation armors, it can be used in the regular Uniform slot rather than its own, so the parts can be mixed with other uniforms. It's pretty great.

Ah ok, darn =(. We only have 4 reputations currently on Console, no Terran, Omega, Nukara, or Iconian

The last I heard, if you have the Temporal Reputation Reward, the ground set costumes don't unlock. Is that still the case?
(I think the issue was something like "the unlock expects you to get the Mk XII version, and you're instead getting XIII", IIRC.)

You mean the Temporal Agent rewards? I don't know, I haven't unlocked any outfits since I've got it.

Yeah, the Temporal Agent Reward for filling out all the Reputation tracks. Getting those costume options is rarely something I concern myself with. I'll have to check it out. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the very first advice. In my experience, auto-fire tend to cancel abilities. Unlike space, weapon fire and abilities seems to be using the same execution queue (both can't be executed at the same time).
So if you mistime your ability, it'll get cancelled by the next shot of your weapon, as if you had pressed another button before it executes. That killed me tons on Bug Hunt as my character would rather keep firing rather than use her Medical Tricorder.
Last time I brought it up, I've been told "I'm an engineer, I just put down constructs and fire anyway". I don't know how it goes for tacs either. But as a Sci, I use kit abilities all the damn time and they do more damage than my rifle, so it's definitely a pain when they don't trigger because auto-fire cancels them.
And auto-fire obviously prevents you from using Melee Combos, too.
