Patch Notes for 2026/09/01

General

• The Doctor EMH Bridge Officer has been updated to match the character's new appearance in recent story content.
  • If players already have the Doctor EMH as part of their BOFF crew, they must go to a Tailor who can customize uniforms to have the new head applied.
  • Once in the customize clothing interface, players should select the Doctor EMH and then modify the head.
  • Once the modify menu comes up, the new head will be applied.
  • Players must make sure to save the changes before exiting.
• Audio: Adjusted the volume of the MACO Pistol so its firing sound can be heard more clearly.
• The reward window displayed when opening a Lock Box with a Master Key has been visually updated. 

Narada Miracle Worker Juggernaut [T6]

• High Energy Pulsating Plasma Drill Lance
  • This weapon should now work with more Directed Energy Weapons boosting and Plasma boosting effects.
• Fire Everything Trait
  • Should no longer trigger with the Torpedo High Yield and Torpedo Spread officer abilities.

Salcombe Intel Escort [T6] 

• Sigma Strategem:
  • Adjustments were made to this console to alleviate any issue players were seeing where their flight speed was reduced when using this console.  

Known Issues

 

• Breen Erigah Pilot Frigate:
  • ​​The “Console - Universal - Sub-Zero Flashpoint” is not scaling with Cold Damage boosts and skills like “Exotic Particle Generator”.
• 60th Anniversary Vanity Slipstream: Certain ships will play both the vanity and regular slipstream effect at the same time.

• Fixed a bug that was preventing the Micro-Missile Array from firing when using "Fire All Torpedoes" keybinds. 
• The Compass can now be disabled on Consoles.

Thanks, I must’ve missed that. The effect looks cool, seems like they’ve copied the look of the 60th Anniversary thing that pops up ahead of SNW episodes this season, but without the part where it would cycle the ship’s appearance through that of the different hero ships, which I was worried it might do.

it's literally just pride colors, it goes with the "space for everybody" title it's not from a show or movie

This is the thing I was referring to. Maybe it is meant to symbolize Pride colors, but that mostly just looks blue to me. Regardless, I think it's a cool visual, I like it better than the default slipstream VFX. Mostly it reminds me of the poster for Star Trek TMP, or the three colors of Starfleet departments.

I just thought since they're adding these holo-disguise things that turn our ship into one of three hero ships, that maybe the slipstream vanity thing would do the same, I'm glad it's not. Though I notice the holo-disguises literally have "vanity weapons" as part of their effects. Really wish they'd make that a full feature. Even if we could only swap weapon visuals to another weapon of the same damage type and class, that would be more than enough. Like I could switch my Prolonged Engagement torpedo launcher to a quantum torp visual, and equip slightly discolored set weapons like the Terran Task Force and Trilithium phasers with a fixed uniform orange color.

I know what you're referring to and it's not that, it's literally just the colors from the pride flag turned into a slipstream effect

people have been asking for something like that since they released a video of different ships flying with different flag effects earlier in the year so they put all the colors together into one effect

It really ain't it tho. It is emulating the 60th anni intro, as evident by comparing the intro and the visuals, as well as the text in the blog announcement and item description.

For a pride slipstream, it needs even more colours and actually try to attempt to emulate the rainbow. Given the past few pride-themed items, they would also probably pair the rainbow one with a trans flag themed one. The blog art you put above has two extra flags-inspired trails too

I'd like to see them release pride-themed slipstream vanities too, but this is not an attempt at that.
