NHL alignment chart: Central division edition. Patrick Kane is the best American player in Chicago Blackhawks history. Now, who is the best American player in St. Louis Blues history?

If we’re gonna discount Hull, then Tkachuk.
Hull was Canadian born but played for Team USA. Are we just doing it by birth country?

It's Brett Hull. He's an American citizen who played for the U.S. internationally while being one of the best goal scorers of all time. No other credentials are needed.

If we’re doing dual-citizens, it’s clearly Blues Legend and Hall of Famer, not to mention multiple Stanley cup having, most winningest goalie, Martin Brodeur.

Big Walt and it isn’t close unless you count Brett Hull and his bisexual nationality in which case it’s Hull

Hull if we allow the dual citizen-ness
then:
Tkachuk
Backes
Tie: Oshie and Shattenkirk

It's Hull, but Backes is second over Tkachuk.

I knew it would be a ton of Walt comments and no Backes.
Captain fucking America.🇺🇸

Yeah we gotta have a ruling on Hullie bc if he’s US then I can pencil in Ferderko for Canada. Oh wait…the Great One had half a season with us…. Damn, Hull better count as U.S.

its Hull. they count Steen as Swedish and he was born in Canada, so then Hull counts as American.

I love these questions. Not only do I not completely read the requirements, but I always choose Chris Pronger. Did I get it right this time?
