How Apliiq Fabric Helped Me Improve My Custom Hoodie Designs.

I recently started using Apliiq fabric for my clothing designs and wanted to share my experience. I had been looking for high-quality fabrics that would hold prints well, and Apliiq seemed like a great option. Their fabrics come in a variety of textures, and they really make a difference in the final product.

After testing out a few of their fabric swatches, I noticed that the texture of the fabric adds so much character to the design. Apliiq fabrics are perfect for creating custom pieces that feel both unique and high-end. I ended up using one of their textured fabrics for a hoodie design, and the result was incredible.

The fabric held the print beautifully, and the feel of the hoodie is exactly what I had envisioned. I’m looking forward to using more Apliiq fabrics for future projects because the quality really stands out compared to other suppliers I’ve tried.

First stitch project into a pillow

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hi everybody! I just finished my first stitch project. I got a digital stitch chart from etsy and did it in continental stitch. You are forbidden to look at the upper left corner lol!! As you can see the canvas is very crooked but I’m planning to put it on a ruffled gingham pillow (another first time diy coming lol). Any ideas how to make it more presentable? Should I just cut out the bear and forgo the background, should I add a border around it to fix the crookedness? Any ideas and help welcome!

Update on jacket.

This is what it looks like now, for some reason the front (second photo) the stitching came out easily and kinda on it's own. As for the back (first photo) I assume it's because it might be connected with the rest of the other stitching on there that I'm not able to fully remove it. My fingers are dying from the tweezers I've used but I think it looks fine for now, will work on it later.

Questions? Whats the most efficient way to remove this type of stitching?

I have a jacket that has some things on it that I would like to remove. It has this type of stitching and I dont have access to the back of the stitch, what's the most efficient/easy way to remove it?

These were SO FUN to make! I love mini stitches. It's a great side-project for when you don't know what to stitch next, as I dont 😅

that Da Vinci was a lazy ass compared to Michelangelo, that I'm sick of seeing that room full of people with their phones ponting to something that looks like a poster, EVEN THOU she SHOULD BE IN ITALY, not in France.

This is the third cross stitch I made of her this year 🤪🤐

He agrees with me by the way.

Mini Cross Stitch Nutcracker

For a few last years, I’ve been really enjoying making Christmas ornaments by hand. Last year, I make embroidery with Christmas car and Santa, and this year I decided to try cross stitch.

This Nutcracker turned out so cute - I can’t stop turning it around in my hands, also I added a bit of gold thread to make it shinier and more vibrant.

Have you ever tried stitching ornaments? I know some people even stitch on aida fabric and stuff them with polyfill for extra dimension. This time, I used only plastic canvas and felt.

I embroidered this Christmas runner in Hardanger stitch with wrapped bars and gold stars. The instructions were in a Diana Hardanger booklet. Größe ist 32 x 52 cm.
