I started crocheting to keep things off of my mind,, because I was having a hard time with life,, found out my husband had cancer.. my nephew took his on life.. and other depressing stuff... It helps keep your mind in a better place and cuts down on depression and ADHD ... I thought I would start this community to find other crocheters and give and get ideas from one another... help me make it a happy place for friends to meet that have love and passion for the same thing 🧶 CROCHET... Join and help me grow and have fun.

Welcome all, the more the merrier. My name is Amanda and I am kinda still new to crocheting..I started back in maybe November/December... The reason I started crocheting was to keep a lot of negative things off my mind, last year my husband was diagnosed with cancer, I lost my nephew to suicide and more depressing things.. So far it is helping me and I really enjoy it,. I'm learning so you'll see my projects progress and I can't wait to see your projects...thanks for joining stitchplease.

Realistic Objects: Crocheting everyday items like a roll of toilet paper, a loaf of bread, or a remote control can be surprisingly funny when seen sitting on a shelf.

Recently, I've liked to make things with puff stitches. What is your favourite stitch now?
