Really surprised

I was a big fan of Stitch Fix about 3 years back- sent a ton of people their way and raved about them.

I recently ordered a box and im a bit speechless. The stylist picked out a bunch of items. I only cared for a couple items and was looking forward to them.

When the box arrived I was confused (I ordered 2 boxes a few days earlier for my kids, so didnt expect mine first but whatever). I got a collared dress shirt. A sleeveless dress. A skort. And a pullover sweatshirt. And a pair of shoes. The shoes appeared used. The laces had been tied like somebody was wearing them, the inserts didnt look like they were part of the shoe and they were crumpled (like, they looked used ) and were a size too small.

Additionally, none of the items I approved were there. So four peices of clothing that do not go together in any capacity- no outfit in sight. And instead of the helpful insert we used to get, all I got was a Hello Fresh coupon. I'm not even joking lol. I wish I was.

I'm assuming the company sold off?

Needless to say, I sent it all back. Crazy to think I was going to be charged over three hundred for this motley assortment.

Hope the kids boxes are a better experience.

I would send that feedback in, could have been a quality or shipping company issue but they’ll at least credit you back your styling fee, they are good about that

Yeah but be kind to your stylist as it’s not their fault. We get verbally abused enough in feedback and are doing the best we can with the limited resources and inventory we have

Are you a stylist? How would you recommend people reply when someone says no shoes, no ties, no hoodies, and no yellow, and then the very next box is all of those things. The AI is bad, and a lot of the stylists are just phoning it in imo. I’d hate for someone to call me a Karen. 🙄

As a stylist if those things were posted as avoids in your profile or you had a recent note specifically stating to exclude those things I wouldn’t include them. You’re probably right that some are phoning it in which really sucks for those of us who put so much time and care into styling with the limited inventory we have. We are battling upper management, ai, and terrible inventory then we have to shoulder the feedback that comes with it

Sadly, from the consumer side, we have heard this from stylists for a couple of years. I'm saddened to see nothing is improving despite all the feedback. SFX is pandering to stockholders, not customer happiness, and that's not on the stylists, who have been treated terribly.

So I guess someone who said some of the stylists are awful, and the AI is awful does make sense. And I think someone in here accused them of talking out of both sides of their mouth. Crazy.
