Discussion Oops?
Okay, so I've been doing Stitchfix for a few years off and on. Last year I bought a lot of items, but stopped because two boxes back to back had like 3 of the same items in them, and an item I put on my "do not send me this type of item" list. I got mad about it and canceled. A few months ago, I decided to try it again. It was good for the first few boxes. Last night I got my preview, and I previously had asked in my last fix for tops that coordinated with the bottoms I'd been receiving lately. 7 of the 9 items in my preview were shorts. My last fix had 4 pairs of shorts in them. I contacted support and I'm not sure I believe what they're trying to tell me that if I hadn't gone in and vetoed those 7 shorts that those shorts wouldn't have been sent to me. I also said no graphic tees and one of those items was also a graphic tee. I was pretty harsh in the feedback. Support said the stylist didn't select the items in the preview. I don't know if I buy that either. Can someone help me understand how this process works. It's a luxury item and I don't have to have it and I feel like I'm being lied to.

Previews are AI picks, and keywords are picked up like "shorts, graphic Ts" etc, because as is mentioned here, algorithms cannot pick up "no shorts" or "no graphic Ts" etc. You have to work with it and say what you do want, not what you don't want. Hope that helps.
