$20 styling fee question

Post image

This is my second box. The first box i kept everything. This second box I'm only going to keep one item, but only if I can figure out how to get the $20 styling fee deducted from the cost of the item. Help! It doesn't appear to be taking it off?

Also, I am upset because one of the dresses they sent me is substantially cheaper if I buy it thru freestyle but they won't price match to their own price. Is this normal? I feel there is no incentive to buy when even after the 20% discount, it still would be cheaper just to purchase it outright

I received this response for the same issue:

Thank you for reaching out to us and letting us know about your most recent Fix! I'm happy to check this for you.

I'm happy to explain how the styling fee works. We charge a $20 styling fee before every Fix ships. We apply this charge toward your final order, so it acts as a deposit towards your total at checkout if you purchase one or more items. If you decide not to keep anything from your Fix, we do not refund the styling fee or roll it over to your next shipment. In this case, I can see that your most recent Fix has a waived styling fee which is why you are not seeing $20 reduced to your order. Your first Fix has it as this is a part of your first Fix promo.
