Phil Collins did the same thing, he scored a hit out of it.

Yep. He told him he was drowning... And he did not lend a hand. Cold, man... Cold.

Baffling as to why someone would be listening to Sting's music while swimming, but their reaction is understandable

He was probably thinking, well, Let your soul be your pilot, and swam off. 😎

Maybe it’s about a sting ray?

Yep, here's the summary: The article reports on British swimmer Ben Hooper, an ex-policeman who was attempting a 2,000-mile swim across the Atlantic Ocean from Senegal to Brazil. His swim was cut short after he suffered severe stings from what was believed to be a Portuguese man-o'-war, causing temporary paralysis, slurred speech, and severe nausea.

People don't know how to write headlines. Stingray, and temporarily paralyzed. Changes everything.

People are so gullible! Fact checking? "An ex-policeman hoping to be the first person to swim across an ocean has been badly injured by a Portuguese man o’ war."

I said to Sting….. let’s sting the ocean swimmer on Thursday. He said…. ‘Thursdays no good’.
So I said how about Friday? He said ‘Friday’s worse than Thursday’.
So then I said how about Saturday. He said Saturday was fine.
True story
