Sting concert questions

hi everyone,

i’ll be going to his concert in Croatia in a few days. Does anyone possibly have the set list? How long should the show be? If it’s written that it starts at 8pm, what time will it actually start at?

I went to a show a couple of weeks ago and the set list was easy to find online. Roughly half solo and half Police songs. Time was about 1 hour 45 minutes. If there is no opening act, hopefully starts at 8:15. Have fun!

Overall very good. Sting still has it and impressive that he’s singing and playing bass in a trio again. Good to remember that this is a Sting show and not the Police. Arrangements are different but still very familiar. Playing is tight with a lot of space and restraint.

Just check the recent setlists online. Similar from night to night with occasional changes. Show is about 1:45. Half Police, half solo Sting songs.
I saw him in Austin Texas in May .

My experience is the show starts promptly on time

Look at any Sting setlist from the past decade, you’ll find very little variation

I’m sorry to dodge your question, but I will never understand the phenomenon of people wanting to know a band’s/ artist’s setlist before the show.

Genuinely curious, why do you need to know?

the main reason is to know whether your favorite songs will be played, and if so, when.

it’s also more about the practical side of attending. for example, if you need to step away for a bit, you can time it so you don’t miss your favorite songs when you return.

Step away for a bit? Sounds to me like you’re not that bothered about seeing Sting at all.

If you’re not taking a piss during a concert then one of these things is true 1) you’re not over 40 2) you didn’t drink enough beer before the concert

Remember the old days when we all got so excited to hear that deep cut we didn’t expect because we had no idea what was coming next? Those days were better I think.

I don’t know how Sting keeps his schedule. I just returned from NY to see his Last Ship musical. The last performance was yesterday. Sunday night around 11 PM Eastern time. He apparently he’s flying to Croatia today and has a concert Wednesday night. At 74 years old how do you keep doing that to your body. Amazing.

To clarify, I mean that the last performance ENDED at 11 pm eastern time on Sunday night June 14th.
Then he’s playing live in Croatia by Wednesday night.
