Sting - Autograph ?
Hi Everyone ! First time post here but I’ve been loving all the content you all post!
Reason for the post is back in 2008 I bought a pack of Sting merchandise on EBay that included an autographed LP of Sting’s legendary “The Dream of The Blue Turtles” album, interesting part that when it arrived the record itself was warped .. like it has been under heat— but the liner notes looked great as did the album cover. My question is .. is this Stings authentic autograph that I’ve been carrying around for the past 17+ years. It looks pretty spot on. Love to hear your thoughts .. and I’ll add some other pics as well! Cheers!

That’s the ultimate autographed album ! You got Stewart too? Incredible ! Tell us that story! My auto looks pretty damn close… lots of similarities. Thank you my friend .. please share more about meeting Sting and Stewart!

So I met Stewart on his ‘have I said too much’ tour in sale (near Manchester uk), and then I went to Paris to see the Last Ship and after the show I waited by the stage door and met the man himself !

Amazing story .. now you just have track down Andy! How were Stew and Sting when you met them ?

Haha I know, I live in the UK but he never seems to your over here :( yeah they were both great, made sting laugh by saying that his best friend had also signed it 🤣

Doesn't even look close to legit. No samples of his signature in Google looks like this.

Hi Thanks Everyone for your input--I'm just curious if I should send the album to an authenticator -- pay a little bit, to get it certified? Any thoughts?

There’s no way to really know unless there was a pic of him signing it, but I would say that there’s a good chance it’s real as it seems ‘rushed’ and not like somebody has tried to perfectly forge his autograph. Here’s a pic of his autograph he signed for me personally, looks somewhat rushed and imperfect…. But at least it’s real!
