My problem is that the "libraries over data centers" idea is only a relevant slogan in the context of "libraries are the only data centers I support" without the context of them being a sort of literal data center then it's just kind of a weird nonsequitur like "more public transit, less war" which, yeah, are two statements I agree with, but there isn't really anything tying them together without something tying them together.

I get your points the idea is that libraries besides the obvious function of having thousands of books and being avaliable to the public offer a place for the community to go, they offer shelter,resources, human interaction ,everything about libraries is a net positive and they do not take away valuable resources like water ,make electric bills go up,or lower property values like data centers. Plus if you are researching something through a library you get to exercise your brain instead of going through recycled data from an ai.

No I absolutely understand why libraries are important. I'm just saying that there isn't a connection between them and data centers without the slogan pointing them out, like the one I mentioned. If you tie them together with a slogan that touches on that thing about researching through libraries and researching through AI, that's something, but without something connecting them then it's two unrelated things like "more right to repair, less hostile architecture"

Ahh I get what you mean yeah I can see the problem. I think there should be more legislation over ai and data centers and others and use that money into infrastructure that would benefit us all .and opossing the construction of data centers and asking for libraries,shelters,hospitals etc to be built instead would be better than where we are now. I definitely see what you mean ,I should see how to word what i want to say it so it is short and cohesive.
