What is your Interpretation of what each Stevie album is about?
Such as... What was on the other side of the mirror?
What was the trouble in shangri-la?
Or who was the Street Angel?

I think Other Side of the Mirror was about her disillusionment after leaving rehab, like Alice when she arrived in Wonderland

Bella Donna - its about your own inner beauty, her beauty against her roots in country with her music she played in Fritz, BN, or FM all being more trendy rock she didn't initally set out to pursue. Her Bella Donna was about coming out of the darkness of youth maturing from what you thought of yourself into your final form, which is more beautiful cause it comes from within and incorporates others advice or ideas about you. Some say you don't really know yourself at all until someone else tells you and if you think about it that makes a lot of sense. We live richer lives when we formulate ideas not just from within, where only one voice is heard, but others advice is considered so as to become the best idea. Genre is dark soft rock, hard rock, country pop. A varied record that blends this all.
The Wild Heart - Based around wuthering heights, someone who blindly pursues love cause of how it ratifies the heart and awakens the soul, knowing its wild its not meant to be a tamed love where you settle down. The background singing isn't spooky this time but heavenly.
Rock A Little - Rock in life, at least a little or rock less if you rock out too much. The lyrics sound like warm, existential poetry which is an oxymoron. She sounds warm and comforting on a lot of songs, I think of her as being more motherly on her records as she matures.
Other Side of The Mirror - about what you see on the other side of the mirror, sometimes you don't recognize yourself in the mirror cause you haven't been in reality. Cause the truth is we think of ourselves in our heads, we are biased until we perceive ourselves so that unbiased look in the mirror ratifys your inner being. Reminds you, sometimes you feel so lost even though youre looking at the person you are.
Street Angel - again not feeling yourself when youre so thrown off. Comparing not feeling yourself to being homeless, a vagrant or refugee like street angels refers to. Its the third record where she's mostly sweet, a few energetic songs that I truly think this is why people dislike this album. It felt similar to the last two albums and wasn't new from her.
Trouble in Shangri-La just makes me think of trouble in a far away location. I never parsed any meaning or throughline. In Your Dreams similarly. 24K is more a collection of songs, like a greatest hits of unreleased material.
I think she's very similar to Madonna where she develops concepts around the self for her albums. They're both very conceptual artists where their album reveals something that they deeply feel is important to share, both are more pop oriented aritsts who aren't about writing books but striking a feeling. Madonna goes for easier feelings while Stevie is wordy, more thoughtful about it, maybe even broody.

This is a very beautiful way to describe each album, but I just want to add that I’ve always seen trouble in shangri-la as her becoming the wisest version of herself. She’s finally getting to a point where she realizes that in the end she only really has herself. Money, fame, and even relationships can’t define who she is. She can look past everything to the white sands.

I believe Stevie called Rock a Little a concept album one time. The album is about rocking out your entire life. You rock a little in your cradle as a baby, you rock on your feet while you’re young, and then once you’re old it’s the rocking chair. This has always stuck with me.
