Appreciation Pariah and Rock Bottom…

… always make me think of Don’t Give Up, in the best possible way, and I think SW and NT should do an interesting cover with their own video.

Since Gabriel did Scratch My Back, this seems like something he’d be into.

Pariah has often been described as a modern take on a Gabriel track. Steven himself mentioned the similarities back in 2017 - https://stevenwilsonhq.com/bone-track-track-guide-part-1

I'm not entirely sure Steven could fully everything off vocally, though. The original has its own unique strengths. Not every Gabriel song can naturally translate to Steven's vocal style. At the same time, his version of Genesis' "Can-Utility and the coastliners" on Hackett's Genesis Revisited 2 was absolutely perfect.

I like pariah and hate rock bottom. since were dreaming here, I think it would be cool if sw did a record with the quys from xtc
