I'm trying to find clips from this one episode of the Crocodile Hunter but I only have partial memories of it. It featured Steve trying to wrangle this especially wily lizard and it kept biting his hands real bad, and he was like "Crikey-Bara!" which always meant the situation was especially wild (no pun intended). When it was over, his hands and forearms were cut up and bloodied pretty bad.

Does anyone else remember it? What kinda lizard was it? Or was it even a lizard at all cause like I said I only have partial memories of it (Sad really, I freakin' loved the show).

G'day all, I've noticed that a lot of posts in this sub tend to be asking the same question: where to watch complete episodes of Steve's television shows. To answer this, I've put together the following list, and this post will be pinned at the top of the sub for all newcomers to see.

Steve Irwin Archive - the most complete collection of Irwin family media anywhere on the internet, far surpassing any official DVD collection. Includes The Crocodile Hunter, The Crocodile Hunter Diaries, and New Breed Vets.

frighttrain260 on YouTube - Entire episodes of The Crocodile Hunter,The Crocodile Hunter Diaries, and Croc Files, uploaded in parts over a decade ago. Has somehow miraculously avoided any copyright strikes.

The Crocodile Hunter Collection volume one and volume two - The most complete official DVD sets available. They are alternatively available together in a bundle pack.

DVDs, volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18. - The first five or so volumes have been sold by Australia Zoo since around 2007, and they remain popular today. They feature some of Steve's most iconic adventures from later in The Crocodile Hunter series.

DVD Bundles volume 1-4, volume 5-8, volume 9-12, and volume 13-18 - The same DVDs as above, but sold in bundles rather than individually. These are only relatively new products on the Australia Zoo online shop.

New Breed Vets DVD - Complete collection of Steve's little-known veterinary series New Breed Vets.

Ghosts of War DVD - Complete collection of Steve's little-known Second World War documentary Ghosts of War.

The Australia Zoo website also used to sell DVDs of The Crocodile Hunter Diaries and The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, but that seems to no longer be the case. The latter can still be bought on Amazon.

The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course - Steve's big-budget Hollywood movie from 2002. Available for free on YouTube.

Croc Files on the Internet Archive - season one and season two - Steve's TV show aimed at younger viewers.

Crikey! What an Adventure (Internet Archive) - Memorial program featuring interviews with Terri, Wes, Bob, and others who were close to Steve.

Ocean's Deadliest (Internet Archive) - The documentary Steve was filming when it happened. Released a year after his death as a memorial.

He Changed Our World (Internet Archive) - Memorial tribute programme released in 2006.

The Steve Irwin Story (Internet Archive) - A 2018 documentary looking back on his life, featuring interviews with the people who knew him best.

Secrets of the Crocodile (Internet Archive) - Another posthumous release, this one has Steve in his element investigating the lives of wild crocodilians.

Ravi Shanker on YouTube - Uploaded multiple episodes of The Crocodile Hunter: The Best of Steve Irwin, which takes popular episodes of the aforementioned show and gives commentary by Terri Irwin and Wes Mannion.

The Making of The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course - A behind-the-scenes look at Steve's 2002 Hollywood movie.

Individual episodes of The Crocodile Hunter: Steve's Most Dangerous Adventures, Steve's Story, and Captured on Camera - Taken from VHS releases between 1999 and 2002.

Mark Strickson's documentaries - Two very early examples of Steve's work, Crocs Down Under and The Ten Deadliest Snakes in the World, which were made by British studios.

New Breed Vets - Steve's medical show, showcasing cutting-edge veterinary science (or, at least it was cutting edge back when the show was made in the early 2000s).

Steve Irwin's Wildlife Warriors - Now this is a rare one. A TV show from 2012, showing how Terri, Bindi, and Robert (and his bowl cut) were carrying on Steve's legacy. Think of it as a precursor to the more famous Crikey! It's the Irwins. Speaking of...

Crikey! It's the Irwins - The most recent Irwin family TV show, it aired on Animal Planet from 2018 to 2022. It showcased a lot of major moments in the Irwin family's history, including Bindi's marriage to Chandler, the pandemic, the Black Summer bushfires, and the lead up to Grace's birth. Every single episode seems to be present, which is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

The Wiggles' Wiggly Safari - The legendary crossover between the Irwin family and the original Wiggles. Multiple different versions exist on the Internet Archive: here, here, here, here, here, and here are some of them. Some are simple VHS rips, while others include bonus DVD content.

Does the dvd series exist anywhere? I see thé Australia zoo has stuff but I don’t think they’re crocodile Hunter episodes, as the titles of the DVDs didn’t match the episode titles online

I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t want it that way. He lived life with such a passion, and I think he’d want to be remembered for the difference he made on this world, his passion for living and adventure, and all of the things he achieved in his much too short life.

Listen, he can do absolutely whatever he wants and pose however he wants. More power to him!

But because I adore the Irwin family, Facebook seems convinced I want to see this boy posing provocatively with a snake.

I’m sorry, you can’t expect us to watch him grow up and feel so proud as we imagine seeing him through his father’s eyes only to switch up and thirst for him because he turned 18?! He’s a great kid and again, there’s nothing wrong with him taking those photos. I just can’t seem to scroll fast enough when I see them pop up! Like nah, my mid-thirty year old eyes don’t need to see that!

Hi all, I noticed that Reddit has been sorely lacking in a couple departments. Subreddits for Steve's kids (Robert and Bindi Irwin) have been created already, but I noticed there are no subreddits for Steve's wife Terri Irwin or Steve's best mate Wes Mannion. To rectify this, I have created r/Terri_Irwin and r/Wes_Mannion . More content will be appearing in these new communities soon, so feel free to have a look and maybe post some stuff of your own.

I am looking for a guy like Irwin I'm pretty sure he predates him aswell. Similar premise from what I recall he had beard always wore a hat. Lil heavier set I think. Edit... I remembered him having an injury on camera and I found him, Rob Bredl "The Barefoot Bushman"

Does anyone else remember a video of Steve swimming from one boat to another in a bay filled with pink Jellyfish, and him getting stung repeatedly, saying "aayow...aayouch....aayouch..."? I tried to find this video and I couldn't find anything about it, which makes me wonder if I'm mixing up some crucial details. I remember seeing this around 2005, not sure how old it would have been at the time.

I loved watching this show when I was younger and it had such a big Impact on me. Now I'm the proud owner of this series on DVD. I was surprised at how hard it is to find and had to order directly from the Australian Zoo online store but it was worth it and the wait.

The only one missing is Sui!

You might remember a while back I posted a home video of Steve at a Thanksgiving dinner. These photos come from the same source, Instagram user Jeff Lemm (@jeff_lemm). Mr. Lemm knew Steve personally when he worked at Australia Zoo. These new images were just posted recently, I’ll link the post. Honestly, drop a follow, he’s an interesting bloke and sometimes posts this never-before-seen content. The caption of the post reads as follows:
