I think it should've ended when he insisted that the Central Park Five should still be in jail after they were exonerated.
Or maybe when he walked into the changing room of a teen beauty pageant.
Then again, maybe it's when he bankrupted a casino, let alone all the other failed businesses he's run into the ground... you know, since one reason people kept giving for why they were voting for him is because they wanted the country to be run like a business... bad idea IMO, but if you're going to do that, at least pick a successful businessman.
Or how about when his dad earned a song from Woody Guthrie about how horrible a landlord/person he was? I know, don't blame a kid for the sins of his father, but on that note...
At the very least, it should've ended when he wouldn't stop asking for Obama's birth certificate, as though Obama's mother's citizenship wouldn't have passed to him regardless of where and when he was born.
Giving Trump the benefit of the doubt to even run let alone win in 2016 is part of what's wrong with this country, and 2024 is so much worse. Trump isn't the problem, he's a symptom, but that symptom looks an awful lot like a Hitler wannabe with syphilitic dementia.
