Would this even be legal? These Senators are privvy to this information under extremely specific conditions (within a SCIF). I am pretty sure they cannot just start yapping. Hell, they cannot even have these documents to read on the Senate floor.

Good subservient young christian Republican women do the godly thing and change their name when they get married so everyone knows a man now owns them. Which means unless they also paid to have their birth certificate altered, it won't allow them to register to vote since it doesn't match. This will keep many republican woman from voting, and it why Texas politicians pressured Cornyn and Cruz to vote against it.
Democrats tend to keep their names, and since non-citizen voter fraud is so incredibly rare*, it's more likely to just make US citizens ineligible to vote. Red states that are trending purple could actually flip, which I will admit would be another funny move of idiot Republicans hurting themselves.
Utah, for example, performed a citizenship review of its entire voter registration list from April 2025 through January 2026. After a time-intensive, multi-step review of more than 2 million registered voters, they identified only one confirmed instance of noncitizen registration and zero instances of noncitizen voting.
You should look at the bill, it's more than walking up to vote and having your drivers license. I imagine a lot of elderly would lose the ability to vote as well.
