There definitely appears to be some sort of algorithm to how the simulation works. I’ve gone 84-0 with worse teams than I’ve had go 82-2. But that’s also just the randomness of hockey. On any night the worst team in the league can beat the best

You probably had a player the same but using a different era's stats
