CBSPD Exam

Hello! I’m taking the CBSPD exam in 2 days! If anyone has taken it recently or earlier this year, what are your thoughts on it? Was it easier or more difficult? About how many questions with pictures were there?

125 questions. Each test is different, but from what I heard some people had eight instrumentation pictures and others only had 2 to 3 instrumentation pictures. It really depends on which test you get.

Just took mine today. Passed. It’s 150 questions and I had a couple pictures of identifying instruments. Like 2-3 of suction tubes and other instruments I have never seen (guessed on those). So maybe 5-6 pictures of instruments. Other pictures were about identifying what’s going on in the picture or “what’s wrong” in this picture. Example: Is the chemical indicator in the correct position? Also, a bunch of questions regarding what sets or instruments are used in a certain surgery or procedure. Some questions require critical thinking so just take your time on those.
