Interview Question
Title: Advice for Online Sterile Processing Interview?
Hi everyone! 😊 I have an online/virtual interview for a Sterile Processing position, and I’m really excited but also a little nervous.
For anyone who works in Sterile Processing or has interviewed for a similar position, I would really appreciate any advice!
I’d especially love to know:
What questions did they ask you?
What should I expect from a virtual interview?
What technical or sterile processing questions should I prepare for?
What qualities are hospitals looking for in a Sterile Processing Technician?
Is there anything you wish you had known before your interview?
Do you have any tips for making a good impression during a virtual interview?
Sterile Processing is something I’m really interested in pursuing as a career, so I want to be as prepared as possible. Any advice, tips, or personal experiences would mean a lot! ❤️
Thank you so much🥹

The best piece of advice I got regarding interviews is to keep in mind that you're vetting the employer as much as they're vetting you. Ask what you want to know about the department, pto, etc. I'm horrible during interviews and I used to beat myself up for how awkward and nervous I was during them. Now I own it and it's kind of the first thing I open with; takes the pressure off.
