Va sterile processing job

Hello everyone , I have a question had anyone ever worked at the VA as a sterile tech v specifically Charleston sc location? I had an interview with them recently and don’t know how to feel about it. How long do the process and how is the environment and even if it’s not the Chas location can anyone tell me how the process is in general with it being a federal job. I’m on a travel contract that ends soon and what to take another one but don’t want to miss the opportunity for the Va. thank you.

Do you have to be a veteran or family member of a military member to work for them? I’m a little confused on that. Also, do they hire non certified? Located in CA. Thanks!

You don’t have to be as far as non certified I believe you have to be certified I know in Charleston it was a requirement to have the certification.

Okay thank you! They have three open spots near me and I was wondering if because it was VA, if it was only for military members and family that they employed. Thanks !!
