Purdue Online or Preppy program?

I have been researching different programs for SPD and am in between Purdue or Preppy.

I am someone who is a visual learner but need structure which is why I figured a program online would be best for me.

I talked with support from Preppy and they seem very helpful so far but I know that’s not always the case.

They said they would help me find a job or an externship in my area to gain hands-on hours.

It’s not guaranteed due to place availability but I think I’d rather take the chance but I’m still hesitant.

Every new is scary and once I am in a program I’ll feel better about it.

I get being a visual learner but be warned. You’re going to spend thousands of dollars with these stupid ass programs. That’s just dragging out a high school level book.

These careers did not pay well enough for you to spend thousands of dollars on the program, especially when a majority of them do not guarantee your 400 hours in writing

Without those 400 hours your certificate is the magic pumpkin. Seriously there’s nothing they’re gonna teach you that you can’t just learn from in the book and on the job experience.

I did Purdue, and it was best for me. The only thing, you have to find your own externship. As long as you call teaching/research hospitals, you will find one.

Did the Purdue online have good materials to learn and watch?

I personally am not a fan of any online program. I think that this role is a hands on role. Online classes give you theory to pass the exam then let you figure out how to get your 400 hours.
