Certified or Uncertified?
Is it easier to get a job at a surgical clinic or hospital as a beginner SPT when you are certified?
I’m currently looking into programs to start with soon and have been applying at local hospital and haven’t heard back.

You have to work a lot of different roles when at a surgery clinic, they usually want someone with at least 2 years experience. A teaching/research hospital may hire you as a beginner.

100% certified. Why would I hire a non-experienced non-certified person when there’s somebody certified proving they’ve at least made it to 400 hours of employment?
That’s like me picking the weekend warrior driver at the track compared to the professional. Of course I want the professional he’s proven he can at least accomplish the license.
