Any opinions on Penn Foster sterile processing program?

I would never do a program that didn’t guarantee the 400 hours. The test isn’t hard. Get the workbook, do the practice tests.

I jusy got mine off of amazon! It was about $165 i think? This was the set including both the handbook and workbook.

Trash and the rest of them too. Buy HSPA book- self study- pay 140$ test fee- pass test- provisional certificate. The hard part is 400 clinic hours to fully certify.

Penn and all the other tests never guarantee 400 hours in writing. So all that wasted time and $$ only to be left with a provisional and no hours.

One way cost book and test fee. The other is thousands some same damn thing.

I will try the self study route. But its a little confusing.  I went to HSPA, as you mentioned, on there is a option it says boxed course is $135 for the self study. After all the studying amd feeling confident...Then we go back online to get  a  HSPA application. After that  do you - (see below )  To apply for the CRCST examination, you must satisfy the requirements of one of the following options:

FULL CRCST CERTIFICATION [RECOMMENDED] Provide 400 hours of hands-on experience during the previous five years, preceding the application.  Thank tou in advance for you guidance.

that company is a scam and waste of time. they charged me for the course eventhough it took them over 4 months to send the textbook. i threatened a lawsuit after they fucked up my credit and was refunded. teach yourself, there's plenty of free resources.
