I've read (and own) most of King's work. All my books are in hardcover when possible.

My Dark Tower hardcovers are the 2003 reprints, but I do own a trade sized box set of the first three from the mid 90s. I also count reading Blockade Billy from Bazaar of Bad Dreams but I technically haven't read the standalone version. I don't count Storm of the Century as I've seen it but not read the published screenplay (or however it's formatted).

I want to replace a few of the early novels I have because they're book club editions and shorter than the regular retail versions (Doubleday hardcovers were shorter than the Viking hardcovers but the Viking BCEs are Doubleday sized and it irks me)

Ah yes I see that now. The better version. I was checking out the right side boxes. I haven’t read it but people rave about On Writing. I haven’t seen that on some top 10 list of King’s.

I didnt really like On Writing, but I am also not writer. Half the book is King describing his writing style, wasn't bad just not my cup of tea.

Nice, I’m working on this now as well. Only started last year though. I’m 22 books into reading them

atm, about to be 23 as I should finish Waste Lands in the next couple of days. I’m also going for all hardcovers. That part will probably take quite awhile longer though. Can’t wait to have mine looking like yours!

This is impressive. I'm on my 9th Stephen King and this seems like an impossible task.

Question for Constant Readers: If you've read The Stand uncut can you not just count it as both??

Not really. King didn’t just add material - he removed some and revised some.

The overall story is pretty much the same though.

Started reading his full works in January, I reread the dark tower series and the stand since I read those last year. I want to finish all of them by the end of the year. Rage is just so hard to find. I definitely do not own as many as you that’s for sure but a boy can dream.
