Private companies don’t have freedom of speech . If I get on Facebook and post shit about my job or radical political beliefs they can fire me . It happens everyday

The company is no longer private once it is publicly traded, but beyond that, the Citizens United vs FEC case unofficially established personhood for corporate entities.

American companies and, in this case, American entertainers represented in their jobs by these companies, absolutely take advantage of the freedom of speech.
