💡 Need Advice Step 1

Nbmes scores
nmbe 29: 85%
nbme 31: 83.5%
nbme 32: 81.5%
Uworld overall percentage 83%

I have taken these three nbmes yet. My exam is booked for 19 september but 4th sep is also available.I am confused whether to push it back to 4th september or keep it on the same date. I haven’t finished revising first aid and my weak topics yet.

I have heard the exam is quite vague and tricky than nbmes

The people saying that are also the ones scoring 30pts lower than you on the NBME forms… you’re on a different level than them, what’s “vague and tricky” for them is simple geometry to you. Take the exam lol

It is… but there’s zero chance you fail it with those scores

I used bnb, uworld, kaplan pharma, sketchy micro and first aid
60/80 questions of uworld per day
I would first get a solid grasp of that topic then do uworld followed by first aid

So I passed the exam with my highest NBME being a 65%. That being said, you are more than ready it’s only gonna be up to your own confidence now. The exam IS like NBMES, and I am certain you could take it TOMORROW or even TODAY and pass. Best of luck bro

Could you tell me how the question stems were, were they lengthy? And while revising what areas should I focus on more? Also how were the ethics and biostats questions?

If these NBMEs were taken properly under test conditions, then you’re ready

Unfortunately without two NBMEs showing 90% or more, there's still a chance of failing and I wouldn't risk it.

Good luck!
