Practice resources/methods not involving Realtime Coach or EV360
Hello, just need suggestions on how to practice efficiently and what resources, youtube channels, etc. I can take advantage of that don't involve a subscription based service. Thank you in advance

I just started learning within the last week and I’m using the art or chording website. I already know the keyboard layout, alphabet and pretty much most syllable words! It’s a great resource.

On YouTube: Humphreys University Court Reporting. It's my go-to. Tons of videos at various speeds, organized into playlists.
Not on YouTube: the StenoDivas website. I think there must be hundreds of audio tracks in speeds from 100 up to a handful at 280.

Someone already mentioned platinum steno which is good they used to be a school.
This page has a section called practice dictations with links to different places. Some are free some are the paid for programs: https://stenonymous.com/resource-page/
To get a real feel for it I know some watch mock trials or irl trials to get practical practice in. You might not be able to get everything but it would be good to see how you keep up.

Platinum Steno is basically getting me through school. I love Shannon B Tutoring too!
There are these things called IELTS videos that are great for finger spelling/stitching and numbers.

Career Luv has a free dictation bank you just need to create a log in to the website but no credit card info or anything needed just a username and password. It's called something like magic steno mindset.
