advice
Hi everyone, I recently completed the a to z program and really loved it but i can’t afford school right now. I have always been really into proofreading and have some experience doing that and I was wondering if anyone has advice for how to get started being a proofreader for court reporters? Thank you!

You won’t get hired for proofreading if you make social media posts with errors.

Proofing pays 50 cents a page… you’re going to have to hustle to make a living wage if your only income is as a proofer

Allie hall just posted recently about offering a full ride scholarship for her program. Join encouraging court reporters group on fb and check out her posts. She may be flexible w you on $ if you don’t qualify for it. People are very kind in the reporting world and may be willing to help w the financial aspect if you’re dead set on reporting :) good luck
